The Top Must-Have Boundaries for Successful Business Owners
Thursday Mar 23, 2023
Thursday Mar 23, 2023
Do you want to have more time, energy, and bandwidth to devote to opportunities that live up to your standards? If so, let me ask you this question: do you have basic boundaries in place to make sure your business and day-to-day life run smoothly? That’s right, we're still talking about business boundaries, when to say yes and when to say no to create a healthier relationship with your business.
In this episode, we cover:
- You are in charge of how your business runs, not your clients
- Setting business hours can keep you from working all the time, especially if you are a workaholic (like me)
- You may have to work late nights or weekends during a product launch or at a client's launch but make sure that it doesn't spill over into every aspect of your life
The reason you started your business was so that you could live the life you dreamed of. Remember, you wanted to get away from working for someone else and doing all the grunt work for a lousy paycheck. Set your boundaries carefully so that you CAN create that life of your dreams. Were there any tips that resonated with you? I'd love to hear about it in my Facebook group. Come over there and share your thoughts with us!

Why Business Boundaries Will Keep You Sane & Stacked with Cash
Thursday Mar 09, 2023
Thursday Mar 09, 2023
It's natural to put up boundaries when a coworker, family member, or friend is toxic or causing you grief, right? What makes putting up boundaries so different when there’s a client involved? Work-life harmony isn't just good for you; it allows you to produce better results for your clients and show up the way you’d like to. If you show up better for your clients, you will naturally show up better for yourself and your family.
Let's go through a list of six signals to see if you have weak boundaries in your business.
In this episode, we cover:
- Saying yes and no to create better business relationships
- Boundaries that are healthy for you, your business, and your family
- The importance of saying no
- Finding out if you have weak boundaries
You're more likely to lose your motivation and sense of work-life harmony if you don't have clear boundaries between business and home life. Setting boundaries is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your business long-term. What do you struggle with most when it comes to setting boundaries? Send me a DM on Instagram and let me know.

Thursday Mar 02, 2023
How often do you violate your own business boundaries? Maybe you told your client you would only take calls between 10am and 6pm, but you answered your phone at midnight last week. What happened when your client called you at 12am again a week later? Did you get annoyed? If you answered last time, why would they expect you to do something different this week? If you know what I'm talking about, then you won't want to miss what I've got planned for this month…
Setting boundaries can be challenging, especially when you're trying to find that elusive work/life balance. That’s why this month we’re covering business boundaries and beyond!
In this episode, we cover:
- Business boundaries: what to expect this month
- What work/life balance means to you
- Declaring your intentions and stepping into your leadership
- The importance of setting good boundaries
- Using your voice to change the way your clients treat you
Setting clear business boundaries is like setting a bedtime for your children. When you work with a client, you teach them how to treat you and what you will and will not tolerate. I’ll bring you more tips throughout the month on how to set business boundaries, when to say yes, and when to say no to build a healthier relationship between your business and yourself. Be sure to stay tuned!
